Hamartia
Hamartia: What is their worst character flaw that they themselves don't recognize?
Hubris. Most definitely hubris. The boy will try to tell you that he's not arrogant or prideful or any other adjective you might pull out of the thesaurus, but everybody who knows him will tell you differently.
I mean, come on, he's got to be at least a little conceited to think that he, with his small rabble of men, can take on the bloody Sheriff of Nottingham and Prince John. He's got to be a little pompous to think that he can just waltz back into Marian's life after abandoning her for five years and expect her to just fall at his feet and embrace him and shower him with kisses. He's got to be a little egotistical to carry himself the way he does, as if he hasn't a care in the world and he's God's greatest gift to women and men.
Hubris. Definitely hubris.
