He’d learned his lesson about sneaking into offices when no one was there, but not about staying away entirely. Pride would still perch in small nooks and crannies along Central Command, high enough people wouldn’t see him and where if they looked up, they wouldn’t notice without taking a long and careful look at the spot. It was safer than the other way, he could see more people moving around the base that way as well. He peeked over the ledge he was currently tucked away on, looking for something interesting.

Jak calmly got off the train he’d been on for the last few hours, nothing but a small suitcase in hand. He was just transferred to Central and the only things he took with him fit in that case.

He was coming from the South, ranked a major in the military so he could have his own place and not stay in the barracks. He got a small apartment above a shop, not needing or wanting anything bigger. He arrived to his new home to drop off his things before going to report to his new commanding officer.

He’d heard stories of the Colonel, the Flame alchemist; Roy Mustang. He wondered if they were true or not, either way he’d find out soon. He headed to Central Command, finding his way to the Colonel’s office before he knocked on the door.
