I'd imagine the visa process for international students trying to get into EU would be even more onerous than they already are. The Character Declaration section suddenly has questions like "Have you ever participated in the sale or trade of True Names" or "Have you ever worked in the iron industry". There's the fee the Embassy (what country is EU in?) has, but there's suddenly a separate fee that can only be paid in plates of milk & honey. (1/2)
(international student visas, 2/2) Sending the Embassy's form to EU to get them to approve your student status involves not DHL or Fedex but a glittering envelope placed under your bathmat; three days later your passport shows up with a visa stamp and a photo you swear changes every other week. When you arrive at the airport there is a line only you and other EU students can see; the electronic passport scanners do not work. (I've been an international student twice - it's QUITE the process.)
