Her cruel smile only widened.

She laughed. “The more proper question would be: where I wouldn’t go?” Her eyes twinkled with mirth. “Anywhere the wind would take me. Far away or maybe not so far away. What you described is fairly similar to flying. I’d love that. And it surely would make traveling faster! Although I don’t know if on other Planes such an ability would be that useful.”

((Headcanon about Bishop.

Their first meeting was positively unforgettable for both sides. Ophelia wanted to make small talk with him and act friendly and flirty, and then he said his famous first line "If I wanted a wench, I'd go to the local brothel!" and turned back to his drink.

Ophelia blinked, smiled, took off her lute from her back and crashed it on his head.

Later it turned out the rock bottom lied much lower than that and they were not even beginning to hit it.))

I don’t understand you and your motives. And frankly speaking, I do not bother to try to understand anymore. You’re not a human, you’re a mad, insufferable, constantly furious flea-covered scoundrel, which should be killed at the very first opportunity. Ember or Redfallows Watch - all the same, Bishop, all the same.

You betrayed not only me – to Hells with me – you betrayed us all when we needed you the most. Do you think it surprised me? No, idiot. I’d seen that coming a long time ago. You were so predictable, egoistic son of a bitch. Do you think I was furious? Hurt? No. I was glad. Glad because you finally showed to them, who you are. And I knew that they would finally let me what I wanted to do a long time ago.

Let me make something clear: the fact that you are still walking free with occasional limbs, bruises and broken bones when I have the misfortune of accidentally walking into the same room when you’re in it, all this is not a sign of my mercifulness or poor memory. I wait, Bishop. Wait for the perfect moment and for a pretext you will surely grant me, and soon. Death is so simple, so trivial… besides, since my friend Kaelyn tore down the Wall of The Faithless, that kind of punishment isn’t adequate anymore. So I have another idea. Oh, you’re going to like it.

Bishop. Ophelia deeply detest his cruelty, his philosophy of survival and egoism. Ironically, they are similar – they are both fixated on their sense of freedom, both ignore rules, both think that it’s the best to count on their own abilities. But all this, instead of bringing them closer to each other, just deepens the hate.

For my bard, Bishop is what she could have turned into if she had taken her sense of personal freedom too far, to the point of making it an excuse to hurt others. According to the page of NwN2 wiki, a deleted content made Bishop a Harborman, just like Ophelia, and for him, she is an example of what he could have been, if he had made different decisions in life. They are basically mirror images that ended on the two opposite endings of the same tale – one as a hero, one as a villain.

Ophelia understands that, but she has no mercy for Bishop, especially not after his betrayal during the siege of the Keep. She believes everyone is fully responsible for their choices, especially if they are free to do them – and by her logic, Bishop turned himself into a monster, not by betraying her, but much earlier, in the day he decided to burn his home village. He made a choice and now he has to life with the consequences. And one day he’ll pay for all evil he has done, for endangering her people and her friends – and for every single soul killed in Redfallows Watch. And by ‘pay’, I don’t mean death. The only reason, why Bishop still lives here, in RP canon, is because Ophelia considers death to be too merciful for him. She wants to literally break him, rid him off the one thing he values most in his life – his freedom. In her eyes, there is no crueler punishment and Bishop deserves just that.

I could go for hours because Mun hates Bishop too, so it’s better to stop there before the answer will turn into ‘character hate’ post.
