What the V9 teaser foreshadowed: Ruby is inherently distrustful when she almost meets up with another of her group because of the display that Neo showed her of multiple illusions.

What will happen: Ruby immediately rejoins her group and they take down Neo with no further buildup.

god i want to have more good will towards this show but they’ve burned through it all lmao. i give villain neo three episodes tops before ruby’s power of friendship gives her a fast track redemption arc.

CRWBY has presented Pietro as a warm and kind person, but kinda gloss over the fact that he’s a mad scientist who did heretical experiments to piece off his own soul (and how many others before learning how to do it right?) in the name of mad/heretical science. From what we see, Watts never treated the soul like a plaything. Hell, even Merlot’s experiments are less morally questionable than Pietro’s.

i know that @itsclydebitches has made some really good points about pietro & while now yes, he is a father who wants to put his daughter’s wellbeing ahead of the reason for her conception; he wasn’t always that way. at the end of the day, penny was a weapon, designed to be a protector that looks like a teenage girl. pietro is essentially playing god with his own aura, possibly with others & while james get flack for this both in show & out (from pyrrha, glynda & the fndm); pietro seems to slide on by without even an iota of the same criticism.

I’d bet both of my kidneys that if Salem was a dude, people would be calling him both a simp and a bigger incel than Adam.

if salem was a dude, people would look at that scene of fem ! ozma sneaking out in the middle of the night with her children & realize he was abusive as fuck & that it was solely his fault their children died but i guess salem’s big mommy milkers sucked up all her personal responsibility.

Either of you two gotten around to watching Invincible on Amazon Prime? In the past couple episodes it’s done a few concepts RWBY’s tackled before and done them far better. Such as the ‘robot’ character getting a more suitable body, and a lot of the Oz conflict ideas.

Though if you haven’t seen it yet, I do warn you that it gets really gory and gruesome in it’s visuals.

we’ve never heard of it, luke doesn’t really watch many tv shows bc he finds it hard to focus but i’ll be sure to check it out! it sounds like a lot of fun & gore usually doesn’t funk me out.

weiss would never have thought it possible, not in her lifetime, not in her children or children’s children's lifetime. pale cheeks flushed a dusky rose colour when ilia turned on her heel and the white haired girl became painfully aware that it was now just the two of them by the wreckage, the other teens having gone and ran off in their delight of survival and exploration. once again, that damned smirk was at her mouth, and weiss’s teeth had ground together when ilia practically cooed at her. 

“looks like we’re gonna be okay, ice queen. you want a hand down?”
