Despite it being a small town, Merrock seemed to know how to party, something Ashleigh was realizing with each event that she attended. But this New Year's Eve soiree was pretty swanky, the upscale restaurant decorated for the holiday, champagne flowing, snacks at the ready. Although she was still getting to know everyone in town, she felt at ease as she weaved through the crowd, arriving to one of the high top tables at the same time as someone else and offering a quick smile.
