A little update for anyone following along with Nova and I: the surgery got delayed until this afternoon but we're finally home now! She drank a little water for me and promptly passed back out in her nice new, highly recommended orthopedic bed and I am perfectly happy to let her. The vet's office said she did awesome for them and she stood unsupported for a little while but definitely still has a long road to being her normal energetic self again (obviously). The handle harness I had ordered for her impressed the vet's office enough that they asked me about the brand and everything 😂 she can't wear it just yet (the incision is much larger than I was expecting) but I'll be sure to post pictures of her first real walk in it!!

I’m not exactly sure of what happened but something that has to do with my google browser shared between my phone and my computer fked up badly, so not only it wouldn’t show me if I was receiving direct messages, but also sort of cleared the whole cache of DM. So summary, if you sent me a message (or replied to me) between approximately September 1st and now, plz send it again as I might have not received it ; ; ; ; ; ; ; ; ; ; ; ; ; ;

YET, the past month I might have been kinda isolated while trying to regain balance in my life. Luckily, therapy kept my head over the water level and it’s slowly pulling me out.

I’m almost done with zines, then I will fully move into commissions and the thesis again, this time I will give it an end once and for all, so I can move on with life projects for next year (I can’t anticipate a lot but you might even be able to see me at a convention in USA next year ;w;// ).

Regarding last reblog, my therapist loves a lot my otaku side because she sees I have a true, raw enjoyment for it (like duh), and when I tell her that in decent anime conventions (even here in Argentina) about 60% of the attendants are people my age and even way older (+25), she goes “But of course they are! They’re the people that are able to fully enjoy that kind of stuff, not only because they’re part of the age group that is able to understand the kind of aesthetics or popular references given for example, but also for the fact that they’re the ones able to pay for the stuff there”.

Because honestly, if you think that the ones keeping fandoms alive are teens and younger adults with no substantial income, you’re beyond delusional. Because every series or book is put out there to produce profit (i.e, people spend their money on stuff of it), and if it doesn’t, it dies and the producers/editors move on without looking back.

Jfc I just aged 6 years on the Germany-Mexico match, but worth it. Mexico is always that one dear cousin my heart is with despite everything and anything~
