Generic Amoxil Capsules (Novamox) – Product Information
Novamox (Amoxicillin) is used to treat certain infections caused by bacteria It is also used in combination with other medications to eliminate H. pylori, a bacteria that causes ulcers. Amoxicillin is in a class of medications called penicillin-like antibiotics. Antibiotics will not work for colds, flu, and other viral infections. Each capsule of Generic Amoxil 500 mg, contains 500 mg amoxicillin as the trihydrate.
Dosage and Administration
The capsules should be swallowed whole and taken with a full glass of water. Take amoxicillin until you finish the prescription, even if you feel better. Stopping amoxicillin too soon may cause bacteria to become resistant to antibiotics.
Amoxil Capsules (Novamox) Side Effects
Common side effects of Novamox Capsules (Generic Amoxil) include upset stomach, vomiting and diarrhea. Please inform your doctor immediately in case you experience any of the following serious side effects: Severe skin rash, hives, seizures, yellowing of the skin or eyes, unusual bleeding or bruising, pale skin, excessive tiredness or lack of energy
