This is definitely on the higher side of the 6's. These aren't bad tracks at all, I just wish they had a bit more depth. There's cohesion amongst the tracks and she continues down the darker techno route which I really enjoy considering I reviewed her three times this year with Metamorphose and In Vere. I don't quite understand why she would put out an EP so close to her album release? Here is what she said to Mixmag:
“The tracks on my new EP are all inspired by the live sets I played in 2023,” she tells Mixmag. “They began as live tracks in my sets, and the style reflects the music I purchase for my DJ sets. Usually I look for these kind of tracks to spice up tool based techno sets. I need them to add emotional moments - with pads, dreamy sounding, soothing but still danceable. Perfect for closings or when the sound is getting too hard.”
