A victim of screwy multiple dimensions, Darren Zenarcher is found in a small Virginia riverside town after crashing a boat into a marina. Saved by the marina owners, Zenarcher regains consciousness and explains that he is looking for the boat's owner, a disgraced pseudoscientist named Dr. Edward Yang. Dr. Yang has recently gone missing but is still the only person Zenarcher can ask regarding the mystery of his existence and, more importantly, why a whole bunch of weirdos have been harassing him these last couple of weeks.
