30 Day Writing Challenge--Day 1

Alrighty I’m gonna do this too <v>

I uh, have about 4 novels in progress currently. I’ll choose which ones to answer for each time because they’re all my children.

Day 1 - “Name of current Project and back story of the name”

Lighting the Shadows - Current name; may change. I think it started out as like “Lights in the Shadows” or something. It’s always had something to do with Lights and Shadows though because... that’s what the main magic systems are called. FOR NOW.

Tales of the Mysterious Shadowy Stranger - Or “Tales of the MSS” for short. Because that’s literally what the story is. A collection of tales (mostly) from the point of view of MSS, the Mysterious Shadowy Stranger.

Hypnotic Prejudice - Okay this project started out being called “Extreme Hypnotism” so I’m pretty happy with how much better it got lol. The story has to do with hypnotism, but it’s also about the... hypnotic/addictive qualities of prejudice, I guess? And whether prejudice can sometimes be right, (ex. a societal prejudice against murderers and rapists), and when is it taken too far (ex. racial profiling because you think one race is more likely to contain murderers/rapists).

Time and Space - very much a WIP name because it sounds like a Doctor Who fanfic. Other options were “Cutest Dorks Go Through Absolute Hell in Every Form and Somehow Come Out Even Cuter” and “SoraLyn Juggernauts Its Way Through Reality and Bends It To Its Will”. Both are kind of accurate.
