Billy and Me

I picked this book up in London. My mother and I were there for 2 proper (actually 4) days and we were very busy on that second day because we also had to go to Kings Cross ( I needed to go there, I'm a Potterhead! ) and later go and see Les Misérable. So it was lovely to relax in a book store for some minutes. A really nice girl came up to me and told me that she read the book too and loved it so I was even more sure to take it with me.

The book is written from Sophie May's perspective. She loves books, is shy and isn't with people her age often. She works in a small café called Tea-on-the-Hill. The owner is Molly who is also Sophie's best friend.           When the film crew of Pride & Prejudice (one of Sophie's favourite books) comes into the small town everyone gets exited. A boy that Sophie never saw before visites the shop and she falls for him. Billy is an actor and in the film and plays...MR. DARCY! Billy and Sophie get together and she has to face the reality of his job and being in the spotlight that she never wanted.

We are told about the ups and downs in her life and the lessons she learns about love and taking given opportunities.

It's a lovely novel by Giovanna Fletcher and was pubished last year (2013). I loved it so, soo, soooo much! It's just great! Go buy and read it! Ahhhhh, so gooood!!! :D <3
