The beauty of horror as a genre is how far suspension of disbelief can go. It probably has the broadest range of suspension of any genre because the audience doesn't necessarily have to know why something is happening. In fact, why might detract from the overall story. They just need to know that it's happening, it's bad, and the character is in danger.
Hi! So, I haven’t posted anything about The Song of The Drowned for about 6 months now (which is a travesty!) so I’m just reminding you all about it now and letting you know to expect some new content. I’m going to work on character introductions and a few excerpts and things. I’ve recently continued writing it so I just want to big up the hype, you know?

desc.
Since she was a young girl, Brianna has dreamed of going to sea. But a robust and discriminatory set of rules plus a family tragedy make this dream seem impossible.
When a twist of fate finds her at sea, she may come to realise that some dreams should never come true.
Sailors, Sirens, Mermaids, and Sea Witches populate this high fantasy tale. Learn about the curse that befalls those who sink into the ocean’s depths plus the intricate politics of merfolk and their war with humanity.
Can creatures of hatred learn to love? And are everyone’s prejudices well founded?
Is Bree’s new life the curse she truly believes it is?
