For the most part you should be fine. i think in Season 1 there was a little more overlap with Arrow, but I don’t think there’s too much you wouldn’t understand without it. As the show went on, it started drifting further away from the other shows, because the vibe was different (and way more awesome :L). I think the only time the stories are interlinked to the point where you’d have to watch all three (4 if you count Supergirl), is the 4 part “Crisis on Earth X” Crossover from last season, but that’s just a 4 episode thing. This season the Legends weren’t even on the crossover, and instead did their own completely bonkers, utterly amazing thing.

I definitely agree, we all need more John in our lives. He’s in a couple of episodes in season 3 and he’s been a regular this season. Every season since season 2, I’ve thought this show couldn’t get any better and then each episode is better than the last. Then they go and give me my regular fix of John Constantine? It’s amazing, I think this season is the best yet.

So TLDR, I think you’ll be fine just watching Legends. Anything relevant from other shows, they always recap in the show anyway.
