They are made (mostly) from a mix of Cawdor Redemptionist and Kill Team Novitiates parts. I much prefer them in red! 🫀

This is my custom inquisitor Ariella! Eldar mohawk, novitiate base, marine pauldron, rando box for ammo, tyranid gun x2, sister gun arm x2, space wolves? cape, and what I feel is a very powerful stride, identifiable form, and unique appearance, Bits are mostly older resin or plastic bits minus the novitiate, from my bits I inherited from dad's collection

Lore to follow, but I want to make some short stories surrounding her and my other armies lore within their system of planets

I wanted to get all of these gals done during the long weekend, but I got about half of the Novitiate bo. Done!

Went to my local gaming club, and played a game of Kill Team and a game of 40k at 1,000 points.

For Kill Team, I was playing my Novitiates, against Filip, who played a Phobos team.

Filip had a bit more experience with kill team, however was paying the Phobos marines for the first time, taking a deployment of an Incursor Sergent, a Commsman, a Helix Adept, and two Riever warriors.

To counter I took everything except the warrior, gunner and dialogus novitiates in my list.

Since we were both playing our respective teams for the first time, we decided to do a open game, with a random mission of Stealth Assault, with him on offense and I on defense.

First round: nothing much happened; Filip managed to take out my Penitant that was charging his Sergent, and wound my Superior. My side didn't do much apart from move up.

Second round: Filip still managed to get initiative, and had a Riever charge my Dualist, which resulted in a fight where the Dualist rolled 3 5s and a 6, leading to blocking all attacks and dealing a total of 16 wounds to the Reaver, scoring her first kill of the game. On my activation, I decided to charge his other riever, and took him out as well with a roll of 2 5s and a 2 and 3, which none were parried even after a CP Reroll, gaining her another kill.

The rest of the round went pretty much as follows: Fillip charged the Helix adept and the Commsman into the Dualist just to take her out in melee (not even sure why he didn't just shoot her), gaining her another two kills. And the Sergent was killed of by a combination of shooting by a Reliquarius and a Purgatus. Leading to a total victory for the Novitiates, and the Sainting of the Novitiate Dualist for taking out 4 space marines single handedly, without taking a scratch in combat (name yet to be determined)

As for the 40k match:

It was a 1,000 pts match against a Custodes army, where nothing as special happened as in the kill team match.

The match ended in a tie, with the entire game being dependant on the saves of a single Battle Sister Superior fighting a Alorus Dreadnought and loosing.

Mordenn Vahl absolutely obliterated some bikes in close combat and proceeding to nuke a Dreadnought with her Fieldis, sadly dying to a blades champion emediatly after.

All in all, 10/10. Very good experience. (Dispite forgetting some terrain and breaking my KT board by accident) Can't wait to go for another in a week or so...

So one thing I don’t quite get yet about the show is the Wonkru novitiates. Is it like the nightblood conclave? When they all reach a certain age are they going to go into the ring Hunger Games style and the victor is the next in line to Blodreina??? Are they training to become part of her personal guard? Her army? Did I miss where this was explained?

It hasn’t been made clear yet. I’m just trying not to make judgments where I don’t know yet. I do actually like to wait for canon SOMETHING before making my predictions or analyses.

Sisters Army Start Point

So this is my army's progress as of rn. Not shown are an extra unbuilt Novitiate squad (need to swap Killteam roles eventually), and 3 old metal sisters I need to base. Included are my vintage repressor, dialogus, and cherub. On the right are Novitiates with chainswords proxied as Repentia (hate the gymshorts), and in the back are some Seraphim and Zephyrim on custom sculpted Greco-Roman Pillar flightstands. Also shown is my Repressor, which is my current project alongside my Junith kitbash. Feel free to request any closeups and I'll post em, was hard to get focus on the whole batch. Bit above 1k points
