The new Doom has been in development for close to a decade now. Should I give up any hope of it turning out good at this point? I know they've gone back to the drawing board a few times, but so did Duke Nukem Forever

The people who saw it at QuakeCon seemed to have nice things to say about the presentation. Hard to say. Doom's a weird thing that doesn't automatically work as a modern shooter.

Invictus mentioned in the GB thread on SA that it might be because the random loot could violate chinese gambling laws, and others have said that locked crates haven't dropped in a while, so I guess it's been a long time coming? I'm interested to see what happens in TF2/CS:GO, too (mostly because I have like 5 TF2 crates and dont want to buy keys)

my favourite "fuck youtube corporation things" thing is that machinima made the people who hosted/promoted their videos via their channel/parnership thing sign away all the rights not just to what they made while partnered, but also indefinitely. i dont know how well it would hold up in court but iirc theyve gone after people who've long since moved on from video game videos for shit. idk its late and memory is hard

I’m picking Y because I like burd a lot more than deer. X gives you crab (Who’s cool) and cotton candy dog (Who looks weird), Y gives you sea horse (Who looks weird) and cotton burd (Who looks… Awful).
