i haven’t played a generation 1 pokemon since i was a youngster and i’m susceptible to nostalgia bait most of the time, so i forgot that you spend 2 hours battling 50 trainers in a row to unlock the privilege of fighting 50 more trainers in a row for another 2 hours until you beat the elite four. all while being lucky enough to encounter some really great mons like pidgey, rattata, and sometimes even oddish *strained smile*

entered a panera for food because of baby mind control, pounded the fuck out of a bread bowl, emptied it into my mouth and gored the bread until it was nothing but dust. then i ate the plate it was on and threw the stainless steel utensils in the trash. dropped the napkin and stepped on it too, disoriented as fuck, greasy and unsightly, seeing stars and shit!!!
