     You guys are literally all ANGELS oh my god... thank you??? <3 hearing all your well wishes really helped ease my nerves and I am just SUPER GLAD to know I’ve got such good people looking out for me!! 

     Everything’s alright and things are settling down! Hopefully within the next few days they’ll move the tree out of the way and maybe trim some of the other ones near this building down so they don’t cause anymore trouble or risk harming their tenants. 

     Seriously though you’re all too good for me... what the heck. <333

    He speaks as if he has rehearsed this one hundred times in the mirror, a nervous smile feigning his sharpened pearly whites as he prays that Sonia cannot see the nervous sweat that threatens to drip from his brow. He stands upright, hat removed and feathered, choppy hair sticking in all directions, as it usually had. The hat itself, was balled up tight in his fists in front of him, thumbs fondling with the thin silver hat clip. Class was going to start soon, so it was easy to catch the princess in the hall, just a few doors down from their designated classroom.

    For once, he seems almost prepared to be faced with grim disappointment.

   “A.... Anyways, Miss Sonia. I had been meaning to ask if you, uh. W-- would like t’go to prom with me? It doesn’t really have to be a date, or nothing. I Just got nobody t’go with n’ all, a-- and I was thinking, maybe if y’saw me now better than you used to, th-- that maybe it would be alright, yunno...?”

   She placed the small item in her hand, inspecting it thoroughly and rubbing the side of it with her thumb. It was a key-chain, about the size of a coin. It’s most noticeable trait was that it was shaped like a camera.

❝Okay, I’ll take it, but now I should get you something too. Was there anything back there you wanted?❞

Komaeda was confused...He wasn’t sure what he was looking at, he’d sometimes wonder why many don’t seem to understand something so simple. Were they too modest? Kind? Those with passion in their heart would look down on others even trash with gentle eyes, like an angel... Wait. Was that the right word to describe it? Something pure yet held so much power to dominate those around them...it Sounded so...mushy... but with his limited vocabulary he couldn’t find another word to accurately describe a being like that. Hope was brimming inside many of the people that he seemed to hover around, knowing full well he was garbage. Parasitic nuisance, that only deserved to be treated as such. 

Yet... When one of them appeared to be talking to ones as lowly or even lower than him without even considering their status, it was bewildering, almost upsetting. At the moment he wasn’t able to control himself and seemed to have upsetted a few. Even had a private message from Sonia asking to meet personally...  He wasn’t necessarily close to Sonia Nevermind, he doesn’t remember exchanging anymore than a few sentences with her without an interference.He felt tense for some unknown reason... Well there was a reason. Not because Sonia wanted to talk to him, it wasn’t that... What worried him was that he hasn’t had anything classified as bad luck today so he wanted to be alone until it did happen but now Sonia wanted to talk... It’s just a talk. If they stood still and conversed probably nothing bad will happen.  Probably.

Yes, it was weird.

Ganymede, a second year in high school, was indeed an exchange student from St. PigeoNation's Institute, and it was... WEIRD that he was here. He’d been chosen from a long, long LONG list of candidates, and h’ed only signed on as a joke. But apparently, the school board had thought that he’d get along better with the humans because of his unique, striking plumage and his sociable attitude. He WAS pretty popular back at the school he’d enrolled in... 

Hope’s Peak didn’t look very hospitable towards birds. The doors were entirely too big. The place looked HUGE. How was he, a simple bird, supposed to get around this maze...? 

And WHERE was his student guide? He was sitting out here on his luggage and ( adorably small ) school bag like an asshole, getting weird looks from the actual students...

“I wonder...do we deserve it?”

Junko pretends to look thoughtful, but in truth they already know the answer - or at least, they know the answer Sonia will give: a nervous, resounding “yes.” Thankfully, they think they know just how to respond.

“Maybe we do,” she concedes, “but I don’t agree. Do you remember what I told you?” She pauses a moment to allow Sonia to think. “Sometimes, life isn’t fair. Sometimes, even the most horrible people will go unpunished. But we’re good people at heart! Don’t you think the world could cut us some slack?”
