V1-P3R Orbital Repair Vehicle by Tim Zarki Via Flickr: Gallery The V1-P3R Orbital Repair Vehicle is my take on the annual Novvember Vic Viper Challenge. I wanted to take the challenge criteria (two front prongs, two rear fins, a vertical stabilizer, and central cockpit), and find a type of vehicle other than a classic starfighter that meets it well, and still makes sense from a design perspective. The V1-P3R is an agile craft for making hull repairs on larger ships in orbit. It features a bubble cockpit for high visibility, thrusters for maneuverability, and stowable manipulator arms.
