Maybe Tomas thinks so.. But would it last? No. He could sit there and deny everything until it eats him alive. The burning and tightness in his chest around her, the longing need to kiss her, put his hands on her wherever he can.
But he doesn't. He tries at least.. Pari, however, really doesn't try to hide anything. Putting her hand on Tomas' thigh, sneaking kisses to his cheek to tease him. He doesn't want her to stop, he fucking LOVES the attention. He only worries about repercussions about having a relationship with his crewmate... professionalism and all that.
Their first true romantic moments happened when everyone else was asleep. There were tears from pent-up emotions from just how much they needed to hug each other and feel their lips touch. But they were tears of relief. But part of them knew it couldn't last or continue.
Did that stop them being naturally drawn to each other? Tomas even started copying some of Pari's actions without realising. His hand resting on the inside of her thigh without thinking. Kissing her neck at every chance he got.
By that point, it was undeniable, and neither could resist each other much longer.
