Ack!
I love my beebees.
I'm like 97% happy with the outcome of Cobert tonight. The three percent is my usual regret that they don't get frisky on screen. ALAS.
But really? The part where Robert stomps around petulantly needed to be nipped in the bud. And Cora handled it just right. She didn't do anything wrong and Robert's insistence that how is he supposed to know she didn't WANT to cheat on him was just lame. Cora was like "babe, i know where all your bodies are buried so don't even." It took him roughly 5.3 seconds to realize she was right.
There is still a larger issue at play that may or may not actually be addressed. That is Robert's dismissive behavior of Cora and I'm pretty sure even if he never addresses it outright, he'll definitely start acting better.
Let's be frank. I'd rather read the good fanfic versions of how the night in that room plays out because it's going to be way better - not to mention more naked - than anything we'd get on the show.
(as an aside, I feel bad for Edith and all but mostly I'm just pissed at how her behavior is unfair to Cora. Don't just steal a grandbaby back and not give her the chance to love it. GOD EDITH.)

Return to the character only at the…

Introducing Muse Monday!
The time is here, the time is now! I have figured out what to do with Mondays! The votes are in, the planning is together, and lo and behold – my writing blog will have some writing going on!
Thus, my new Feature – Muse Monday! I am pulling together a few different ideas I’ve had and, now that I have been pulling off Features (mostly), I think upping the game sounds good. So one writing idea I’ve…

Specific!Prompt
On his way to Haru's house, Makoto finds the white kitten he usually plays with dead and being picked on by crows. He frantically quickly shoes them away and with trembling fingers picks up the cat gingerly and takes him home where he buries her next to his goldfish, crying.
He doesn't go to school that day, but sends a text to the others, informing them that he doesn't feel well and isn't going to school or swimming practice. He throws up several times that night and is unable to eat or sleep much. The next day though, despite waking up late and feeling like shit, he goes to school, brushing off his parents concern when they question his disheveled appearance and red eyes.
