Where did insecurities start? There is a huge quiet trend of feeling inadequate and not good enough for the people around you or worse yourself. How often do you see parents (maybe once your own) ignoring their children’s questions, nowadays with their attention more focused on a phone? How does that act effect that child? Will it build their self confidence or feed the thought that their voice is not worth attention? The actions, attention and language that we use with our children massively starts to shape their idea of who they think they are! What if we embraced their voice? What if we gave them our attention? How would that change their ideas and possibilities that they believe for themselves? This is my Son. He has just turned three. This video was taken about 6 months ago when we were excitedly chanting his favourite Les Brown mantra “I can, I will, I must”. To him right now it is a fun game but to me it is helping to channel his energy and self belief! With a mindset that HIS VOICE IS VALUABLE he is headed on a path of endless possibilities! I love this kid! #nowiamthevoice
