Its post like this that makes me have mixed feelings because im all for peace and focusing on the child/children but my thoughts is you can be cordial without being friends. Some situations may be awkward from beforehand and doesn’t mean that there is beef it could be where as the significant other you need to let the parents of that child/children co parent before you come in trying to overstep your lane. Sometimes growth can be okay we both have moved on and we no longer have those types of feelings for one another big this is our child/children so we need to find a common ground to make this work for the child/children. Speaking from experience it took my son‘s father and I 2-3 years after our break up to be able to see each other and be like we are now. Like that’s really my friend because we are focusing on our son and not us. It wasn’t always like this because his significant other and I did have beef in the beginning, and it was reason behind that beef because she was the side chick the last yr and a half of that relationship, she was who he had cheated on me with so yeah there was bad blood there then but now years later after I had time to sit and think to my self like no mam your better than this It’s about this child that has to have his father in his life. That part of you and him been done. My son is who this is about so his father and I were able to become cool and understand that without his or my significant other’s outside influence.
