The woman’s head turned up from her desk, the sound of something clattering against one of the walls of her shop drawing her from her work. Truth be told, the woman shouldn’t have even been awake at such a time, but trouble sleeping often translated into late nights slaving over the blueprints her father had left her. It also came with her hearing things, and had it not been for the sound coming again, followed by what she could only assume was muttering, she might have left well enough alone. As it were, the woman stood from her desk, taking a moment to pull on a large over-sized trenchcoat, before stepping outside.
The back door to her shop opened with an audible, metallic creak, her amber eyes darting left and right curiously before stepping outside. She thought to call out, but kept her lip buttoned, at least until she noted the large figure hunched not but a few feet from her. She stepped forward cautiously, calling out, her expression level and calm despite her inner worry.
“Hey, it’s not safe to be out here at night,” She couldn’t fully see his face or make out anything other than his height and stature “Are you okay?”. By the way he was hunched... Could he be hurt? She was closer now and she couldn’t help but note what strange clothes this man was wearing.
