          Truth be told: she was grateful that he HAD been here. Otherwise                  everything could have proved to be much, much worse.

“Ne t'inquiète pas. I’m relieved that you did.” Ladybug pauses, & her gaze sweeps down, over the city of lights below. She’s thinking---calculating the akuma’s escape route, & then, her attention returns to him as a whole. “I need to find them before something else happens----can I ask for your help?”

Just when she thought the streets were safe she found herself caught between a rock and a hard place. She couldn’t transform, not in front of the men before her so what was she to do? She opened her mouth to speak, to call for help yet she soon found the men stricken to the ground by a stranger. Was this good or bad for her?

"I.. I umm... Thank you for helping me.” Marinette paused, stunned by what she just witnessed. “Y-you could have been hurt though. Why would you help a stranger like that?”

“Now boy wonder, don’t freak out.” Her voice is rise up as her body shifts, uncomfortably since her entire side was sore, and considering the casket now holding her arm together, meant that the night had been a tough one. “Can you be nice Tim and not say ‘i told you so’? I like that Tim the best.” Stephanie finally rise her eyes toward the other, offering a small smile but genuine. As if to try and water down the fact she had been hurt and a broken arm. But that is what their life were.“Can nice Tim tell Alfred to make me waffles? I’m starving.”

@noxacity Barry was getting faster. Of course with the new speed came a lack of control. One moment he was speeding through Central City and the next he was somewhere...dark.

It was darker than nighttime in Central City. He didn’t like this darkness. It unsettled something in him. He reached for his comms “Cisco? Can you hear me?” He only got a loud static in response. “This isn’t good....”
