its been days since @charbeloved fed me in the basement...

Saw another post on here that got me going on mental health.

I don’t know if anyone else experiences this, but it seems once you’ve been diagnosed with one “big” (heavy air quotes) disorder (ADHD, Autism, etc etc) it seems impossible to get diagnosed with anything else.

Example, I have Dyspraxia.. but also Autism. The autism was diagnosed before the dyspraxia.. and the dyspraxia was never put on any chart of mine.

Everything is just seen as a byproduct of another issue and thus, is treated like the disorder it is a “product” of.

Like, no Margaret, It’s not that the pencil feels funny in my hands so I can’t write fast, I CANT TELL MY BODY TO WRITE FASTER.
