@noxturnalfate asked: what, you mean you don't trust me to handle it myself? - Elio to Feng Wu
“I don’t trust them…” she clarifies. Okay. She doesn’t trust him right now either.
It might be the most important task she’s had while working at this hospital. It will go off without a hitch. It will be perfect. Feng Wu will accept nothing less.
She reaches across the nurses station for the pad of post it notes, and then for a pen, forgetting the one that's stuck in the messy bun that her long hair is piled up into. Carefully, in the best handwriting she can manage, she writes the name down, spelling it properly.
“I am not having a repeat of last month!” She means it, there is an undercurrent of anger in her voice. Yes she might have called them before hand and had an absolute Karen moment, but frankly when she had spelled it out three times and it was still wrong she thinks its warranted.
“The last time we got a cake from them, they spelled Meagans name wrong, and everyone spells it wrong, so the one thing it a name shouldn't be spelled wrong on is a god damn birthday cake.” She knows what it’s like to have your name butchered, and while she’s more than used to it, she doesn’t think it means other people should be.
As she pulls the post it note off the pad, and holds it up, she gives her decree. “When you pick it up, check it, check it again, and then again, and if it’s spelled wrong tell them I’ll hunt their ass down…”
