Unintended Consequence of Giving NPC’s AI Number 4037:
TG let me know that since PS and ME have AI that lets them help players skip “the boring parts”, this translates into skipping right to the final boss fight for dead session players, should they be fortunate enough to run into one of these helpful carapaces.
There is DEFINITELY no negative consequences to letting unconditionally immortal assholes run around sessions in droves because their “impossible” joke session accidentally let them cheat through it. None at all. Cary on.

Home, sweet home. I've never been so grateful to see my shop in my life. Although when I think of all the work I have to catch up on, and - o-oh dear Fray, I've just realized that now we have to start working on your Secret Quest... Oh? What's that Fray?
NPC Update: Brain Ghosts and Robots
Hope players can now make Brain Ghosts of other players (especially those they pay attention to, or the Heart player). Brain ghosts look like regular ghosts, except they aren’t stuck in bubbles. Look at the chaos this HopeStuck session caused.
Meanwhile, players with a skill in Alchemy (or who just really fucking like robots) have a chance of making a robo-doppelganger of themselves or their best friend or, you know, the Heart player. Especially useful: Now we all know where all those robo-time players were coming from. Somebody in a doomed timeline lacked a time player and just fucking built one so that they could F1X TH1S. Here you see KR, the dream player, being kick ass at Alchemy.
I fucked with the way relationships work a bit (hopefully I didn’t break anything) because when the session crashed the first time a player tried to date a robot I realized that I had a unique opportunity to NOT automatically assume robots have less rights than people. This guy gets it.

NPC Update: Companion Update has both Consorts and Carapaces out, and the framework in place for the Shenanigans update. It feels GOOD to be flexing my SBURB muscles again.
Next up is special companions, like Leprechauns, Brain Ghosts, Robots and active Dream Selves.
I also finally devoted some time (irl shit has died down mostly) to answering some of my asks. Apparently if they are too old or something they leave the queue? P sure i had some older I hadn’t gotten around to. rip.
