NPC website at http://www.newpaltzconvention.com/ This was the contest entry I’ve done for New Paltz Convention (NPC) 2018 that happened from April 14th to April 15th. It was to put the NPC mascot, Nina Penelope Conquest, in a RPG. So I decided to make her as a priestess and I had to give a description of her. Initially I wasn’t going to post this because I did lose the art contest and took it hard, but I didn’t want to act like this artwork never existed. Art is all about progress. My Art Entry’s Description: At the New Paltz School of Healing Arts, Nina was determined to become a priestess in a unique way. With a fascination of nature, Nina wanted to create an incantation that can use materials from the environment to create spells. This incantation was a symbol of blue, green, and orange representing water, plants, and animals respectively. This led to some of her colleagues making fun of her vision. However, Nina’s incantation worked in a way to improve her quality of heals, cures, and buffs way better than the other pupils. The professors were impressed by her work and even though Nina was made fun of, she responds with forgiveness, thus giving her the title of Kindhearted Priestess. Now, Nina travels around to help others in battle with her new healing style, but she still has much to learn.
