I just remembered a thing I used to do that should’ve been a major sign of NPD, so now I wonder: how many people who were the “therapist friend” or had a “saviour complex” as a child developed NPD or some other illness?

you can’t say obsessive if you aren’t referring to ocd, you can’t say inattentive or hyperactive unless referring to adhd like make it make sense. also people can have traits of various disorders without even… having any disorder! but i mean it figured that narcissists would want it to be all about them anyway lol.
But narcissist is a word literally categorised by the disorder. It’s not as if the other words are exclusive to the disorder. Narcissist is a word that aren’t part of that. Narcissism is a disorder characterised by symptoms that make up the disorder. It is not correct to say that someone is narcissistic unless they have narcissistic personality disorder. I meant that when narcissistic traits are discussed it is normally within a medical setting. Having narcissistic traits is not something casual to discuss unless you have the correct medical knowledge to give the diagnosis or the tendencies. People misuse so many words to mean something that they don’t and that is an example of it. Narcissists don’t want it all about themselves but the word is for them. The word is describing them, the word is their literal disorder. Stop using words to hate people that are words for mentally ill people. I do not appreciate your ask, I find it completely rude and extremely disrespectful. Get over your ableism because you are ignorant and you are talking about things that I am sure you have no understanding of. Check yourself please!
I find it really ironic when people tell me to stop being narcissistic
Because I am a narcissist! I can’t exactly do that.
