NPDI Urges Nuclear Disarmament

Hiroshima - The foreign ministers of the 12 countries that do not have nuclear weapons called on the nuclear weapon states in order to conduct further disarmament efforts .

The meeting of foreign ministers of the initiative known as the Non - Proliferation and Nuclear Disarmament ( NPDI ) . They endorsed a joint statement at the end of their 8th meeting held in Hiroshima , Japan , Saturday ( 12/4 ) . This is the first meeting was held in Hiroshima .

The Hiroshima Declaration called for nuclear disarmament conference to be herded together , not just the United States and Russia , but also all the nuclear weapon states . The statement urged the nuclear weapon states in order to clarify the number of nuclear weapons they supply and to reduce the number of such weapons .

The ministers suggested that the leaders of the world to visit Hiroshima and Nagasaki . They are expressed in order to realize a world without nuclear weapons , people from all over the country and have to figure out how heinous generation of nuclear weapons .

Japanese Foreign Minister Fumio Kishida held a press conference along with other foreign ministers after the meeting . He expressed his belief that the Declaration of Hiroshima would have universal importance in the international community .
