I choose to think that at some point, Jordan complains about Stiles less than legal inclinations in front of the others, and Liam chimes in to inform Jordan that one of his very first meetings with Stiles was when Scott kidnapped him and enlisted Stiles’s help. Jordan has a brief moment of hope that Stiles maybe hesitated or refused to help with yet another crime, only for Liam to mercilessly crush that hope by telling Jordan that Stiles immediately jumped into problem-solving mode and also terrified Liam by semi-threatening to kill him (Liam clarifies that he now knows Stiles was just letting him know that the bite would kill him if it didn’t take, but since the poor kid got the worst explanation in history, this was not clear at the time and he really did think Stiles was telling him that murdering Liam was an option. Jordan visibly wonders if he can get drunk as a hellhound). Jackson eyes Jordan, briefly considers not twisting the knife before deciding that there is no mercy when it comes to informing Jordan he’s part of the most criminal supernatural group around, and tells Jordan that he briefly had a restraining order against Stiles (Isaac pointedly reminds Jackson that he was a Kanima and being used to murder people and Jackson says that motives and his status as a murder weapon aside, he was still kidnapped by Scott and Stiles. Isaac rolls his eyes so hard he triggers a migraine and Liam is henceforth referred to as mini-Jackson by some of the others due to the fact that they’ve both been kidnapped and Stiles was involved both times)

MINI JACKSON. This is beautiful.

Honestly, Jordan doesn't know half the illegal shit Stiles was involved in, and it's probably better that way. 😂

In NPFP, you mention that Stiles knows to steady his heartbeat when he lies and give the “my Jeep hurt my shoulder” lie as evidence, so I was wondering if it’s ever officially stated when Malia actually saw his injury and realized there’s no way it came from the Jeep. Do you know if she could have seen it before he lied to her and she just didn’t call him on it, or if it is canon that she believed him and only realized it was a lie later? Because this also determines why Scott tells Theo the Jeep excuse in 5x09, because a possible explanation could be that Malia knew Stiles lied but still passed that excuse on to Scott because she figured Stiles just didn’t want anyone to know what hurt him (others are the ones you mention in the fic). I’m just trying to figure out the timeline of events to see if it’s actually canon that Stiles can truly lie to werewolves because like, that’s a heck of a talent and I need around 10 fics about the pack realizing Stiles learned to get around their built-in lie detectors because checkmate guys, Stiles is the most powerful piece on the board because he learns to get around things and also he’s totally Fae

This ask reminded me that I should probably rewatch Teen Wolf sometime soon... or maybe just s5 because I didn't remember shit. So, I had to go back into the transcript of s5e9 to figure out what exactly Scott said about the Jeep excuse.

"That was the Jeep. He said the Jeep's hood fell on him."

Scott says, he, which sounds like Stiles told him directly about the injury... and lied to his face. Otherwise, he would've said "Malia told me".

As for Malia, who the hell knows? She's prone to sneaking into Stiles' bedroom unannounced. Since I doubt Stiles would've wanted anybody to actually see the injury, she probably took it upon herself to check out his shoulder (without his consent, as per usual). I assume it was before Stiles told her the lie because she says:

"I guessed. I saw the bite on your shoulder while you were sleeping. It didn't matter to me. That's why I never said anything."

(I fucking hate this line, so much, and how nonchalant she is about it as if she doesn't know Stiles has been teetering on the edge of a mental breakdown ever since the accident.) I would assume it happened sometime before e6 because in that episode we get a scene where we see Theo and Malia listening to Stiles' heartbeat. We, as the viewer, even hear his heartbeat, and it's pretty calm. Malia, however, still looks at him in a weird way, and I guess that's because she had already seen the bite on his shoulder.

Is it canon? I'm not sure. Are there more instances? That's very possible. I feel like I've noticed that in fanfics. Maybe it's fanon. I don't remember. NPFP is based on my interpretations or "what if" ideas around scenes or conversations. So... most of them probably aren't canon, but they're certainly my headcanon 😂

If you’re comfortable answering, what would have been everyone’s immediate reaction to Stiles and Brett sleeping together in “No Place for Promises”? Like, the moment everyone realized those two hooked up, how would they have responded? I love the drama in stories and I’m really curious about the initial responses, like if Theo is wildly jealous, how does Isaac respond, what’s Lydia doing, how does everyone else react to Theo, and all that

Sorry for the late reply! That's a good question, actually. I've never really thought about it, tbh.

I guess Lydia would be pretty delighted. Jackson would be highly offended just out of principle.

Theo would obviously be extremely pissed and more than jealous. His reaction would've probably been pretty violent towards Brett and passive-aggressively towards Stiles.

I don't think Isaac would care all that much. He'd probably just roll his eyes and move on. But Tracy would be very happy because she'd think she still has a chance.

Something I’ve been wondering, what’s it like for everyone else when Stiles starts saying “we” and “us” about himself in NPFP? That seems to be a stellar indicator that Stiles isn’t 100% Stiles at the moment, or at least that he’s kind of riding shotgun in regards to his control

It very much depends on the person, and if they'd been around for Void!Stiles.

Isaac is extremely anxious but knows how to hide it very well, so it won't stop him from jumping into action.

Kira and Lydia will both be equally worried, but while Lydia would immediately try to help Stiles, Kira would probably be a lot more wary. She may know Stiles now, but she knows what the nogitsune is able to do... and they know Stiles is part nogitsune now.

Brett is not necessa scared, but he'll be a bit nervous. He wasn't involved in the nogitsune incident, so when Stiles starts saying 'we/us', his first instinct is that it's the nemeton talking.

Jordan's first instinct is to lock Stiles into a room until he calms down, but the hellhound part of him is more interested in serving the memeton. So, that's an issue.

Peter is fascinated... because he's Peter.

Jackson probably thinks Stiles has lost his mind, even though Lydia and Danny told him everything.

Theo is just... well, it's still Stiles. He isn't bothered all that much. It also helped that he's always had a hard on for Void Stiles, so I guess that helps.
