Stop & Serves!

Hey there friends,

We've gotten some questions about the "stop and serves" that we listed on the philanthropy bookmarks we handed out earlier this week (missed them? email [sac] to get your own!). So, we've put together a list of the stop & serve projects we are hosting for the semester:

Oct. 6th-7th, 9th-10th 11am-1pm and 6-7pm Postcards to Grinnellians During this event we will have postcard templates that you can decorate and write a message on for your friends to give them some midsems inspiration. We will work with the mailroom to deliver the postcards to their campus boxes.

Nov. 10th and 14th: National Philanthropy Week Nov. 10th: Stop by our tables to make a care package for one of the alumni who will be celebrating their 70th class reunion this year! We will have make your own hot cocoa mix, a Polaroid photo booth, and more goodies to put in their packages. Nov. 14th: Write a thank you note to member of the Grinnell community whose generosity has supported your Grinnell experience!

There will be more coming in the spring, so check back then! Or, if you are interested in helping plan stop & serve events, make sure to stop by our next [sac] meeting Tuesday, September 30th at 9pm in JRC 225.
