Quodpot Team: The Baltimore Valravns

As one of the first national Quodpot teams formed in America, the Baltimore Valravns have a strong fanbase, particularly among witches and wizards in Maryland. The Valravns traditionally ride sleek brooms of black, with white and violet robes to sharply contrast. As the team enters the Quodpot pitch for important games of the season, mundane ravens charmed white are released into the air (at one time, real Valravns were used, but their trance-inducing stares have caused problems for the spectators and referees, and the NQL has since banned their use).

Quodpot Teams: The Arizona Phoenixes

Based in the city of Phoenix, Arizona’s only NQL team is hard to forget. The Phoenixes’ home pitch is the Superstition Stadium hidden in the desert mountains surrounding the Phoenix valley. With robes of crimson and orange, and riding brooms of gold enchanted to leave behind flame-like streams, no one can deny that the team keeps their mascot in mind in every one of their public displays. At the beginning of the 2015 championship, the team conjured an enormous fire in the shape of a phoenix, which exploded into a mass of fireworks louder than the cheering of a roaring crowd.
