Toby sat in the middle of the living room floor, surrounded by a hoard of baby books. So many baby books that he couldn't even see where one started and the other ended. He'd expected pregnancy cravings, maybe a few things to expect when the baby would come but the things he was reading. Wow. He did not expect even half the crap that he was reading? Was it true? Cause if this was true he would never sleep again. 

-If you have heartburn during pregnancy, your baby will be born with a full head of hair.

- If you swim while you're pregnant, you could drown the baby.

- When you carry low, you will have a boy and if you carry high, you'll have a girl.

- If you resist any food cravings, your baby will look like the food you resisted.

- If you stay mad at someone while pregnant, your baby will resemble that person.

- If a pregnant woman asks you to get whatever it is she's craving, and you refuse, you'll get a stye in your eye.

- If you're laying in bed, your parent must NEVER reach over your pregnant body to retrieve something from the other side. If they do, you'll get stomach pains.

- If you raise your arms above your head while pregnant, the cord will wrap around the babies neck.

- To keep your unborn child safe, avoid sex during pregnancy.

Sex could harm the baby? SEX COULD HARM THE BABY? Shit. Toby fell back into the pile of books and dropped one over his face.

Checking In [Toby Bergen & Hadley Jensen]

After speaking to Eddie's doctors, Hadley went and spent a decent amount of time at Tom's bedside. Two of the three most important men in her life (the third being her father) were now in the hospital and she felt as though she was coming apart at the seams.

Her next stop is Erica's room, not because she's very close to the blonde anchor, but because Eddie considered the girl a great friend and Hadley knows if Eddie were okay, he'd be checking in. She stood in the doorway and watched her for a moment with Toby Bergen, her E.P and apparently her boyfriend. Hadley's heart ached for a moment as the two spoke to each other in hushed voices she couldn't hear and wasn't meant to hear. Erica giggled, the two of them kissed.

Would she have that again with Eddie?

Hadley stepped back into the hallway and leaned against the wall, trying to take a few deep breaths to collect herself. Erica also cared deeply about Eddie and she knew there was no use letting her see how upset she was an assuming the worst. She had to be strong - for Eddie and for everyone.
