Btw I don’t know if stuff has been discussed here on future Pocket Monsters 2019 series but, we know episodes til episode 9! All because of artwork sharings on twitter! And one of the is most interesting to me:

This is for episode 9, which is titled “The Pledge We Made That Day! The Houou Legend of the Jouto Region!!“ Notice what Satoshi has in his hands? Yes, a rainbow feather!

Since this is already confirmed to be in our continuity (stop with reboot theories guys), it seems like we may actually have our Satoshi obtain the feather during episode 9! That’d be honestly so cool if it happens! I wonder which promise/pledge they’re referring to?

The episode airs on January 19th, according to TV Tokyo’s press release!

Just gonna inform you guys I’ll be talking less about new pokeani series. I’m glad some people find enjoyment in it but right now, I don’t find that much. Which is a shame.

Today’s episode’s highlight was acknowledging Satoshi’s meeting with Ho-oh from first episode and reanimating it. Then it kinda fell apart for me. If you enjoyed it, I’m glad you did! Animation was great thou!

We should be getting new episode titles either by the end of this week or by the end of next week. Along with staff lists for Pokeani 2019′s episodes 8 and 9. I do look forward to knowing whether Tomioka is writing the Ho-oh episode (since he originally wrote the Ho-oh legend episodes during Johto saga iirc), or if it’s being handled by someone else. I also can’t wait to learn what the hell the show’ll be doing after that episode, as we don’t know! Fingers crossed for something intriquing?

So. I’ve now finally watched the subs for NS008. And it is a fun episode. Just a bit generic and usual and nothing unexpected really happened. But if you’re new to series, then maybe you’ll find more enjoyment in it. I loved the animation thou, Shinohara is one of those animators who never disappoint me in the quality, I love his style. And I think he actually commented in twitter about Satoshi’s clothing choices, and I think he was wondering whether Kukui and Burnet dressed him up during their Lanakila Mountain School Trip since his choice of clothing was... questionable here lol. Don’t take my word. But I’ve been enjoying his comments on latest Pokeani episodes!

Anywho. Well animated episode. Basic plot. I’m more interested in next week’s episode, thou mainly for the Ho-oh plot. I don’t trust this series. Yet. The god damn preview dialogue had the old guy state Ho-oh doesn’t exist thou so Satoshi should def shout back at him about having seen him before! ...wait, didn’t the Johto saga’s Enju City episode have the fancy guy question Satoshi as well? I forgot his name!

I don’t know anything about a pledge being spoken, but considering Ho-oh appeared in very crucial moments in Ash’s life in the past... Maybe it was an unspoken thing? One between Ash and Pikachu. Ho-oh is very important to them, after all.

Could be, we’ve got 2 months time to speculate! lol
