we were worried that the first book meeting after the breakup would be awkward, but they both managed to remain civil. he's still giving her that look tho

poor Dirk keeps getting harassed by fans including aunt Lily which is just mortifying for Miyuki and Jac when all he wants to do is read. he approached Miyuki about meeting in a place other than the public library. She said she'd think about it before going upstairs to find some peace and quiet to finish her book.
What's this guy even famous for anyway? Miyuki doesn't care. she's not interested in giving him even more attention. nope, not at all
