▶ Levitating floats line up back to back, covered in glitter, feathers, and beads. This only means one thing, its time for the Beads Parades. It will be starting over at Circus tent, moving through the Carnival rides, Arcade area, and lastly, making its way to the French Quarters.
Each float has been overly-decorated to be colorful and eye catching, as beads are thrown from each float to the crowd that gathers. Two of the floats will have the Mardi Gras King and Queen Nominees. Yes, every single nominee will be throwing beads to the crowd, before we announce the King and Queen during the ball.
A little side bonus will be happening involving the nominees. They all have f i v e gold masks that they will be giving to a random person in the crowd of their choosing; those that get the gold masks and wear them at the ball, will be recognized as the nominee's royal court group, and will be award a surprise gift at the end of the festival.
