Nifty IT index up by 0.23%; HCL Technologies trades flat
Nifty IT index was trading up by 0.23% at 13,842 during Thursday’s mid-morning trade. KPIT, Mindtree and Tech Mahindra were up by 1%. However, IT services company HCL Technologies was trading flat. The Noida-headquartered HCL Technologies had opened its Employees Stock Option on June 20. They have allotted 19K equity shares of Rs2 each under the company’s 2004 Stock Option Plan. After the allotment, the paid-up share capital of the company has gone up to 1.39cr equity shares of Rs2 each aggregating to Rs2.78cr.
Meanwhile, an HCL Tech-promoted company, PowerObjects was yesterday recognized as one of Minnesota’s top workplaces by the Star Tribune, as per news reports.
