Just had to share that I made it into the National Society of Leadership and Success and I couldn’t be more proud of myself!

“To play at PalaPanini while wearing the jersey worn by so many champions before me has been one of the most beautiful experiences of my life. Indeed, words can’t explain the feeling of lifting a trophy there. Thanks to Modena Volley and especially to all the fans for their support and affection. There will always be a bit of yellow and blue in my heart. See you soon!”
Here’s Santi Orduna’s message to the fans, since he will join Bunge Ravenna for the upcoming volleyball season. As a fan, I’ve been honoured to support such a hard-working, dedicated and kind player, whose love and respect for the jersey he was wearing is hard to match. Thank you for having been part of our history. I wish you all the best, you deserve it.

Disclaimer: Obviously, the translation isn’t literal nor perfect, as it’s almost impossible to translate many Italian idioms (unless you’re a professional translator whom I am not). However, the translation is still as close as possible, keeping the actual meaning of the players’ words.
Today I attended my first college society orientation! I had such a wonderful time today and I learned so much at the National Society of Leadership and Success!
the worst part about my mom coming up to take me to lunch is when she makes me go back to school :( but today is really warm-- brought out the shorts which makes me really happy. will probably have to start switching out heavy winter clothes for spring essentials :D I have to go to an orientation for NSLS tonight from 6:30-7:30 and my anxiety is extremely high. but I wasn't inducted last semester (because I went to no events) so I need to at least start the process. recruitment is next week and I'm so nervous, like really nervous. whatever happens, happens... I guess. I did most of my work yesterday and all I need to do is my 4 article summaries and study for my shaping of the west test on Monday. hoping to be able to relax a little this weekend and start reading the pile of books that are on my desk hahaha

...Then, I arrived in Modena, where I was Bruno, not just Bernardinho's son. Modena changed my life: here I felt everybody's affection, and I understood who I am as a player and as a person.
