My life is now complete - I finally found a pair of Stan Smith Adidas sneakers in my size at the NS SPCA thrift store (at 800a Akerley Drive in Burnside) where I volunteer - I’ve been looking for them since the day they opened their doors and someone finally donated a pair on a day that I was there - all the lights lined up and I saw them in the bin and I was like “no, it can’t be - it isn’t possible - it won’t be my size” - and they were my size! And the rest is history - I will treasure them for the rest of my days — I’m 55 after all - it’s not like I need them to last for 50 years - oh yes - shoes are only $6 at the thrift store and no tax - so they were a total steal - if you haven’t been to the thrift store you should definitely check it out!
