The ‘Chinese version of the N-th Room,’ took place mainly in a private Telegram group called ‘MaskPark Treehole Forum.’ According to reports, it had as many as 100,000 members, and the may have involved up to 900,000 victims—far exceeding the scale of Korea’s N-th Room case.
The victims included large numbers of underage girls. The criminal content varied widely, including covert recordings in public places, drugging and raping classmates or colleagues, secretly recording betrayals of girlfriends or wives, and even the horrifying sharing of videos by members who sexually assaulted their own daughters. Perpetrators used various methods—coercion, deception, hidden cameras, and drugging—to obtain private images and personal information of women, especially minors, then disseminated and sold this material on a massive scale within these groups, using it as a basis for collective verbal humiliation and sexual fantasy sharing. Public discussion was heavily suppressed and information rapidly blocked, the full extent and severity of the incident were never adequately discussed in the public sphere.
Hi everyone, sorry for bad English. But I really wanted to spread informations through out the world beacause it's veryveryvery awful and disgusting. On twitter or Instagram, you might have seen the hashtags #N번방_갓갓_포토라인_공개소환 #N번방가입자_전원처벌 or #nthroom. These hashtags are about 'Nth Room' in korea. Some people threatened women and girls to perform cruel sexual and violent activities and recorded it and spread it through Telegram. Many of the victims were underaged girls. To be the worse, about 260,000 people have entered this group chat to see these videos. Some of these criminals say that they entered the room "by accident" but it's not true. Because to enter one of these rooms, they'd have paid at least 100,000 korean money (about in 100 dollars USA). Now the truth has been revealed, and the perpetrators are trying to escape by deleting or hiding their Telegram accounts. And even the South Korea government is not trying to punish, or investigate about this properly. This shouldn't happen. We should not let these guys run away. If they do run, this tragedy will happen repeatedly. We should shout out our voice to punish these people and prevent future crimes. Hello everyone, I wanted to speak about this as I saw this going around my twitter. This is a very triggering subject but this deserves as much attention as you could get.

In South Korea, there's an app called Telegram. Basically like Line, Kakao, Messenger, etc. It's just a messenger app. Well, there's this man in his 20's named Jo Joo Bin/Cho Joo Bin but goes by "Baksa" which means "doctor". He made these chatrooms and you have to pay to access them. The chatrooms are in tiers so 1st tier has the least amount of violence and gore while the 3rd tier has the most graphic. Basically you pay to get in. So about 100k won (~80 usd) would get you into the 1st tier while 1.5mil won (~12000 usd) would get you into the 3rd tier.
Now this is where things get graphic and where I go into detail so BE WARNED
Now what's in these chatrooms? Well there's videos of women masturbating and having sex on camera, there's videos of teenage girls. There's a video of someone cutting off their nipple, eating feces, someone masturbating with scissors, and other very graphic content. And they get worse depending on what tier you paid for. There's even men paying to rape them or gang bang them.
How old are these girls? Why are they involved? The victims are young women. There's about 76 victims and 16 of them are minors. The youngest being 9-11 years old. They find girls on the internet and hack into their personal information and they get manipulated to do these types of videos. Many are blackmailed into joining and others come from low income homes, so if they do these videos then they get paid money. That's why many girls fall victim.
Why should I care? You should care because there are about over 260k men that have PAID to enter these chatrooms. This includes celebrities. From actors to idols to athletes, CEO's and hell maybe even politicians. These men have fully agreed into entering a room to see women being manipulated into mutilating themselves and having sex or performing sexual acts on themselves. And most importantly, THESE ARE HUMAN BEINGS AND THATS THE MAIN REASON YOU SHOULD CARE!!!! These girls are being exploited and raped so they can have money for their families. These girls are even used as SEX SLAVES.
Why should I do something? Shouldn't the Korean government do something about it instead? There are korean media outlets that are covering this entire thing. Men have been victim blaming, journalists have been blackmailed to keep silent. And the authorities aren't taking it seriously neither. Many girls have come out to say that they're dealing with mental health issues after everything but they receive no help. If you don't know much about korean standards and society, mental illnesses are frowned upon. Some jobs won't hire you if you deal with depression or anxiety or anything else. It's frowned upon in korean society and yes while there are still people out there who actually do care about you and your struggles, majority of korea is still very conservative.

The second popup basically says "you've signed the petition", again, that's a good thing. Sorry this isn't what I regularly post but! A reporter has revealed a shocking incident in Korea. In 2018, a Korean high school student alias ＂godgod＂, lured and threatened at least 74 females, including underage girls, to shoot pornographic videos. In the videos, victims are forced to be naked, masturbate, be raped, self-harmed, or do incest. 'Godgod' then used those videos for making profits in at least 8 Telegram groups by receiving admission fees. More than 260 thousand people (including overlapped counting) are inside those telegram groups.
The personal information of the victims were exposed by 'godgod' in telegram groups. Not only do victims bear psychological damage, but some of them also have been gangraped by the audience.
Most of the audience in the group defended for themselves that they accidentally entered the groups. However, this claim could be defeated easily. First they needed to pay fees to enter a group. Secondly they needed to expose personal information or photos of females around them inside the group. Thirdly, they have to do speech violence towards those victims so that they would not be kicked.
We need to defend human rights of the victims. Please pay attention to this shocking news in order to urge the government to take action seriously. Thank you.
