HC about Phantom and Natemare Inspired by @huffle-dork‘s ‘Phantom Collects’ shortfic and @reverseblackholeofwords‘s ‘Broken Pieces’ story thread. Natemare made a deal with Phantom a long time ago. He had given up any hope of ever leaving when Marvin somehow escaped his contract. He felt a glimmer of hope and gained enough courage, and he managed to break out of the crystal. The Phantom’s magic tainted him, however, and made him THE Natemare we know now. He swore to himself he would never again let anyone else get tricked by the phantom. Will eventually write this out as a story, but I’m too lazy RN :P
