There’s a kid in our neighborhood with a cute dog. He found out that we got a cute dog. Now he comes here every day to ask if they can have a dog play date.

Out of context this is adorable. However he comes every single day and definitely has not asked his parents come here which means his parents have no idea where he is. He never tells us when he’s coming, he just shows up and starts pounding on our door. He has some kind of ADHD (much worse than mine), and he likes to ask lots and lots and lots of questions, even if they have already been answered several times. I understand he’s just a kid, so I’m trying to stay part with him, but it’s getting annoying

Most of the time we have to find a way to get him to leave. Sometimes my sister has work to do. So he asked everything he can about what kind of work it is. Sometimes my sister isn’t here, or at someone else’s house. In which case he wants to know her exact location, as if he’s going to then walk there. Then after he’s finally gone off, he just stays in our front yard for 20 minutes, as if something will change, and then finally walks home.

While I was dealing with him today, my cat ate my pizza. It takes that long

Today I finally put a sign up on the door that says “[dog + sister] aren’t here today, sorry.” I don’t plan on taking it down.
