I Met PrincessCallyie In-Person!
This was a gift exchange back to me when I sent her gifts back in January. She was so thankful that she wanted to give me gifts in turn for my loyalty.
I was coming back from my Florida road trip. Her hometown in Georgia happened to fall near the route home. I knew this when I had my past road trip for my Christmas vacation back in 2015. My family and I spent most vacations to Florida on plane. I was planning on meeting her, ever since our friendship was flourishing.
Yesterday, I had my chance to make a quick meetup face-to-face. She felt kind of awkward at first, yet I can’t blame her social nervousness for meeting new people, but she was very friendly. She complimented my outfit, hugged, and we chatted for a while. She did look to see if I brought my family along. She met my dad when I was putting the gifts in our car.
I got home and I’d like to show you what @princesscallyie gave to me:
A pencil sketch of me playing Boulevard of Broken Dreams by my fav band, Green Day. I am so framing this in my bedroom!
Here are the prints of the past commissions I had ordered, including her brand new Prinack pics! I honestly don’t know what to do with these, but store them somewhere so her memoirs are in my room.
Guitar picks of Green Day from American Idiot to the 21st Century Breakdown era. I can rock out in style playing music, especially Green Day songs!
Second to last, she made me chocolate chip cookies that she baked. She told me before that her mom is a baker, but her family issues got overwhelming. Her mom will send me her treats later, but who knew Selena could bake just like her! The last gift was a personal note expressing her gratitude and being thankful for being loyal to her and her art.
I am very grateful to have so many friends, local and online. I could never have been more thankful to have a friend who shares the same ideas as me and support each other to and fro. I’m truly blessed for our friendship and I cannot wait to see how far our future goes. She’s very busy and hard-working, and I will always support her no matter what!
Thank you, PrincessCallyie
