I feel like he intended to push it & promote it but he put a lot of faith into it (rightfully so) & just let it be idk… he’s always doing somethin or thinking something up

He probably initially told himself he would but just ended up leaving it for dead, per usual. He keeps telling people he’s touring in spring so I'm pretty sure he's just planning/preparing for that rn. He might shoot another video, but I doubt he has any plans of promoting the album.
