I cannot believe I have to do this. Yes, Nuea kissed Syn with his eyes open BUT Nuea kept his eyes open because he was checking whether Syn was okay with the kiss. As soon as he saw that Syn wanted the kiss, Nuea closed his eyes.

Not gonna lie Syn x Nuea and Diao x Yi and Foei are the ones getting me through Cutie Pie S2. I mean Lian and Kuea have a special place in my heart but the whole dramatic, sappy wedding plot is not my cup of tea for personal reasons. I respect and appreciate the little protest for equality aspect of it tho. 

But I enjoy scenes like this lol

Still, they did try to get out some important messages - shilling for gay marriage and telling people off for various things (using femmes/trans as the butt of a joke, being respectful of saying things about women's bodies etc).

And I believed that all the couples WANTED each other (which is rare). The lean in from Syn was subtle but sexy.

Finally, both Lian and Yi have got bonkers PAs who should clearly run away together and join the circus. I loved them.
