One thing that fundamentally confuses me about neurotypical people is that they need to teach you a lesson by shaming/humiliating you.
Recently, I started working in a new department in my company. Well, there is one coworker who seems to be super critical of me and my other new coworker.
I really tried to brush it off. Until she left a note in our logbook calling me out by name for missing a notation. I did not realize the notation was 3 times a day because of how it was explained to me.
However, instead of approaching me and explaining it. This person decided to shame me for the missing information.
This is not the first time I've had this type of interaction, unfortunately. It seems that NT people often use shame/humiliation to get their point across. Which I have never and will never get.
I understand making sure the job is done right. However, that can and needs to be done with respect to another coworker. We are in the same position. I am not your enemy.
Unfortunately, I don't think I will ever understand.
