I have unfortunately become mildly obsessed with creating a crossover between MLP and the hit 2003 real-time strategy game, Command & Conquer: Generals

I have begun drawing the units in the game as ponies and I WILL NOT BE STOPPED!

Soon I'll post some sketches I did, I'd like to build up a few first. I've got four drawn already, with solid design ideas for four more!

Howdy!

I’m Nuke, the mod of both @ask-the-prototypes and @caballo-bay-missives!

I’ve been actually making art again and I figured it was about time I made myself a little area for art that doesn’t quite fit these other places. Here’s hoping starting this up and getting sketches posted will move me to start answering asks for The Prototypes! (finally. again.)

I’m also working on a few written things, a Destiny 2 crossover fic, “Walls Don’t Usually Move”, and a collection of short stories based around the Caballo Bay group of OCs. I’ll try and remember to update this lil info page once I have links for them!

Hello! Did you think I was dead?

FOOLS!

I've actually been making a TON of art! Over at my modblog @radiation-station !!

And not just that: I've been evolving, lately too! Below, you'll see the original portrait base that I've been using since before the inception of this humble blog.

This trusty little blank pony here has been the catalyst for tons of portraits, lil animations, and even the making of friends through this blog.

And below THIS?

BAM! LARGER SPRITES! GREATER POTENTIAL FOR DETAIL! EASIER HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT! ALL AT FOUR DIFFERENT ANGLES INCLUDING WINGS AND A HORN!

Once I get all 14 portraits done for a collab (of which I'll also be posting over at the modblog!), I'll be getting started on re-making the portraits for all of the Prototypes! In that vein, I'm also biting the bullet and "unlocking" THREE new androids to the family. Burst, First of Flight. Sync, First of Magic. And most recently, Pipette, the Mix-tress. Keep a lookout for those introductions in the near future! (I'm still working out Pipette's color palette!)

Favorite robot from media?

Ough! That’s another tough question! (Partially because there’s a lot of pop-culture robots I really like from media I have not consumed)

Now, going purely off of aesthetics? 100%, Decepticon Bludgeon.

Just LOOK at him! A skull-faced samurai that transforms into a TANK. Armed and armored up the wazoo.

On a separate note, I think I may have to give the overall favorite to Bastion from Overwatch! I used to play a lot on launch, but it progressively became less and less fun as they swung hard into the competitive aspect. I still love that precious murder machine, though! (Spoilers, he ALSO transforms into a tank, lmao)
