oh, interesting. if it were any other Timewyrm book I would definitely say Love and War, but Revelation was actually decent in a mad sort of way. I think I’m still going to have to say Love and War though, because it introduced Benny and she’s one of the very best things to ever come out of the Doctor Who eu.
I think you have physical copies of the EDAs, but just in case - do you know where I can find a full pdf of Vanderdeken's Children?
i’m so sorry, unfortunately i don’t know!! i do have the pdfs downloaded but i only use them for books i don’t have physical copies of, and i have a physical copy of vanderdeken’s children. i checked my pdf of it and it’s missing the last bit too :/
just compared it to my book tho, and it’s literally only the last four pages that are missing. i could just message you pictures of them if you want ahaha.

The first character I fell in love with: i mean, i was already in love with eight hehe, but i fell very much in love with specifically eda!eight like ten pages into vampire science.
The character who is my ‘baby’: eiiiiight. and fitz
The character who I do not understand: ...compassion? i love her a lot, but i feel like she was pretty inconsistently written.
The character that I think the show ruined: no one, really. i know some people might say sam, but i love sam so fight me. i could say faction paradox as a whole too, i don’t think they were RUINED per se but they definitely ended up far away from miles’ original vision.
The most attractive male and female character: we can’t really see them, so that’s tough lol. eight for male (tho he’s not actually male) and anji for female!
The character death that was the worst for me: i recall being really sad about the archaeologist women dying in genocide...and fitz’s girlfriend in frontier worlds, and debbie in father time...OH. father kreiner. that sure was upsetting.
The character that is the most like me: sam. we’re both angry kids who like running and are into women. i even used to have short blonde hair.
The character I think the writer(s) love: eight lol, i will never tire of the writers going on for paragraphs about how beautiful he is

tbh, while I can list some I enjoyed a lot, none really stick out as a favourite, so I'll just gesture vaguely in the direction of Kate Orman.

@nukirisame Yeah I'd definitely urge them to check out other audios because there are lots of good ones, but Eight/Charley never clicked for me either so I get where they're coming from and would much rather recommend something like the Lucie Miller audios, which are a great jumping on point and Lucie is a really fun character, so I think they're well worth a listen even if you don't ultimately vibe with Eight
